About the session
What I photograph is not sensuality as performance. It's sensuality as essence.
No rehearsed poses. No constructed moments. Just you — light, natural, and entirely yourself.
I guide each session so that what appears in the image is not a version of you prepared for the camera, but the one that exists when you forget it's there. That's Entreclique — my signature technique that captures what lives between one gesture and the next, where the photo stops being made and simply begins to happen.
This is therapeutic photography. A practice I've dedicated 9 years to, having photographed over 5,000 women across Brazil, the United States, Europe, and Latin America — each one leaving with images that felt, for the first time, truly like her.
I'm Mari Luz — Brazilian photographer, Photography Director, and TEDx Speaker. And I'll be in New York City from May 9 to 20, available for a limited number of sessions.
Sessions are conducted in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
